Wilderness Athlete: Kristy Titus

Climbing some of the steepest, roughest mountains in the world, enduring the most severe weather conditions, pushing my mind and body, digging deep and giving it everything that I’ve got, not backing down from any challenge that Mother Nature throws at me.

I was raised leading a pack string of mules into the backcountry, experiencing the thrill of fair chase, do it yourself hunting.  I am always looking for ways to gain the advantage over the next hunter and the prey that I seek; spending countless hours training in the gym, running trails, shooting my rifle or bow, and preseason scouting.

I am an elite athlete on the Under Armour Arsenal, with a background as a certified clinical sports nutrition and exercise consultant and competitive body builder. I know that there is nothing more powerful than proper nutrition and hard training. Wilderness Athlete Performance Products give me the advantage by providing me with the stamina and strength to push through the most extreme elements in the backcountry.

Don’t let Mother Nature slow you down, train hard, dig deep and give it everything you’ve got.

Wilderness Athlete: Sara Fiore

If you are building muscle, losing fat, or simply improving your overall health, Wilderness Athlete is an exceptional company that provides the perfect balance of products fitting any person’s needs.

As a firefighter and figure/fitness competitor, I have found Wilderness Athlete products to fit every part of my daily routine.  I have noticed lean-muscle development, as well as increases in endurance, metabolism, strength, and focus.  I begin most days at the fire station as well as daily training sessions with a mixture of Energy & Focus and Hydrate & Recover and within minutes I feel motivated and energized.

During busy shift work of emergencies and training, I carry along the Meal Replacement Shakes and Energy Gels with me on the fire truck.  I am confident in knowing that I will maintain the strength and energy to remain productive throughout long days and sleep-deprived nights. As I also nutritionally and physically prepare for figure and fitness competitions, I find the Wilderness Athlete Fat-Burner to increase my metabolism and curb my appetite and cravings. I relentlessly consume the Protein Shakes after training to rebuild broken-down muscle fibers.  I find the protein to aid me in maintaining lean-muscle with the added benefit of tasting amazing.

I am overly satisfied with the physical gains I have noticed from Wilderness Athlete products.  I have high assurance these nutritional supplements will be a part of my future. I am completely hyped when I imagine the endless possibilities that I, as well as other athletes can have with the many nutritional supplements Wilderness Athlete has to offer.

Thank you Wilderness Athlete,
-Sara Fiore

Wilderness Athlete: Tony Bynum

Tony BynumTony Bynum is a professional wildlifenaturehunting, and commercial outdoor photographer from the Rocky Mountains of the Big Sky Country – Montana.  Bynum says that wildlife photography just comes naturally. His ability to capture some of the most compelling big game images produced today stems from his dedication and commitment to conservationwild places and free ranging wildlife and watching them year around. Bynum’s an active successful solo back-country big game hunter as well. He knows what it takes to get the job done. “The fact is, no matter how tough you are or how much of a load you can carry, nutrition is the ONE thing that can take you out. On some longer back-country trips you just cant pack enough food to keep up with 6 to 9,000 calories per day you can burn in the high country.” Tony depends on Wilderness Athlete products to supplement his diet and keep him healthy in the back country.

Wilderness Athlete: Ryan Shoemaker

Ryan ShoemakerI wanted to send you a quick note and thank you.  Your Altitude Advantage product worked like a charm. I just returned back from the high country of Colorado where I had my first real world test using AA. I live in Northeast Ohio where I sit at 1,171ft. Parked my truck in CO at 11,027ft. My style of hunting is backpacking in carrying everything I need for 10+ days in the backcountry on my back. My Badlands was pushing 65+lbs after grabbing items off my fathers pack to help lighten his load. Because I have no extra time, we made the drive from Ohio straight through, put on our packs, and headed in. We allowed no time to acclimate to the 9,856 elevation change before heading out on the 9+ mile trek. Thanks for making a great product. From the AA on this trip, to the gels during my 100 mile run, everything I have used to date from WA has been 100% positive.

Wilderness Athlete: Aron Snyder

Aron SnyderIt’s always great to support a “hunter friendly” outdoor company like Wilderness Athlete.  It’s even better when the company is providing quality nutritional products with the backcountry hunter and athlete in mind!  It doesn’t matter if I’m making oatmeal after my morning workout or heading into the backcountry for an 8 day bivy, Wilderness Athlete products are always an integral part of my nutritional program.

Follow along every step of the way of Aron’s hunting season this year at Outdoor Life’s Live Hunt!  Aron will be giving tips, tactics, and sharing successes and failures all season long!

Wilderness Athlete : Jerod Fink

Jerod FinkI can remember the first time I used Wilderness Athlete products. My brother in law and I were running an off-road multi-sport triathlon (canoe, mountain bike, and trail run) in the wilds of Northern Minnesota. I had been using other products up to this point, but on this adventure, how could I not use products called “Wilderness Athlete”! I was amazed at how good I felt, despite the 8 hour thrashing my body took. I can honestly say that since that race three years ago, rarely does a day go by that some type of WA product does not go in my body. No matter the activity, whether it be a long mountain hunt, a 12 hour day at the office, or simply a pick me up before an afternoon workout, you can bet that WA is along for the ride. Thanks for the great products!

Jerod’s Favorite Wilderness Athlete Product:  Energy and Focus

Wilderness Athlete: Trevon Stoltzfus

Trevon StoltzfusMy passion for everything outdoors started at a young age. I was a pretty small kid and loved contact and adrenaline charging sports, unfortunately I was too small to play football and basketball, so cross country, soccer, and specifically wrestling were the sports I was drawn to as a kid. I found that as I grew older wrestling was definitely the sport for me. With much success I wrestled through high school and into college until knee injuries sidelined me. Growing up in New Mexico and having a love of the outdoors I instantly gravitated towards spending more time in the backcountry hunting and fishing. I also started riding bulls and with the natural balance and finesse I had gained from the wrestling mat, I found myself excelling quickly. But the sport of bull riding can be damaging to the body and as I grew older, my soul heard once again the call of the wild. I spent more and more time in the woods and was soon consumed by the art of bowhunting big game in the west.

Since then my passion for the outdoors has continued to grow and I started writing articles for many nationally publicized big game hunting magazines along with starting an online western big game hunting webisode called Outback Outdoors. With the help of Wilderness Athlete I continue to stay active by competing in sports like soccer, triathlons, and 3D archery tournaments in order to chase my passion of arrowing trophy bulls and bucks in the backcountry.

Wilderness Athlete: Evan Williams

Evan WilliamsThank you so much for an EXCELLENT product.  Between Altitude Advantage, performance bars, protein, and drink mixes…my hunt wouldn’t have been the success it was.  I hunted this buck for 10 days and finally on the morning of the 11th day I was able to connect.  I couldn’t have done it without your product.  I set up camp at 11,900 feet and 7 miles from the trailhead and took him a mile and a half from camp at just under 11,000 feet.  Wilderness Athlete kept my energy levels up for the full 11 days.

Wilderness Athlete: Lee Brit

Lee BritI just wanted to write and thank you for all your help with the WA products. I have been a user of WA products since shortly after they started but really have started using them more and more lately thanks mainly to being able to call and speak with you regarding the various products and their uses.

I just returned from a backpack combo hunt the NWT with Mackenzie Mountain Outfitters for Dall sheep and Moose. We spent 11 days/nights in a tent and our food/nutrition was entirely up to us and what we could pack on our backs. I used the WA products extensively during my training beforehand and during the hunt itself. I do not think I would have made it the entire time without them.
