Seems to be helping!

Three weeks ago, I came down with that nasty “6 week” cough going around. A week into it, I ordered my first bottle of Peak Immunity. I have been taking it for nearly 2 weeks now, and the cough is almost gone! My energy is better (I had spent nearly a week in bed) and the congestion is gone. Can’t say it’s a miracle cure, but it sure seems to help my body fight this infection. Will definitely keep this in the vitamin rotation during sniffle season!

Pretty good!

Seems pretty effective so far. WA is my family go -to for other supplements, will continue to buy more.

What is PEAK IMMUNITY?

With an all-natural and synergistic approach, this formula will prime the innate and adaptive arms of the immune system with an array of immunomodulatory ingredients that support the immune system in its battle against viruses, bacteria, and toxins.*

CLEAN FORMULATIONS. NO FILLERS.

POTENT INGREDIENTS

MAITAKE & SHIITAKE MUSHROOMS

Regulates the inflammatory response.*

MORE INFO

Traditionally used for thousands of years in Eastern medicine, these two anticarcinogenic and antiviral mushrooms pack a punch with it comes to their wide spectrum of alpha and beta Glucans. These work synergistically with the whole formula to increase phagocytosis and promote the production of Natural Killer Cells. They help regulate the inflammatory response as well as help in the proliferation of immune cells.*

ZINC

Stimulates antiviral immunity.*

MORE INFO

Described as the gatekeeper of immune function, there are over 7300 scientific research citations for zinc's influence on the immune system. Unfortunately, over ⅓ of the world's population is deficient in zinc due to the diminished nutritional value of food. Zinc is directly antiviral and stimulates antiviral immunity. It’s involved in the regulation of both innate and adaptive immune cell signaling, helping all the immune system parts communicate. It also regulates the amount of inflammation caused during an immune response.*

VITAMIN D

Needed for immune cell function.*

MORE INFO

With a little over 3000 scientific studies on vitamin D and immunity, its importance for our immune function is critical. All immune cells have vitamin D receptors which indicates it's needed for their functionality. It helps modulate the adaptive immune system, and is crucial for the innate immune system and its effectiveness of the barrier function in the gut.*

VITAMIN C

Antioxidative & enhances the production of T-cells and B-cells.*

MORE INFO

One of the most common supplements in relation to the immune system, it promotes innate and adaptive immune cell function. It's highly antioxidative and enhances the production of T-cells and B-cells. It supports the epithelial barrier against pathogens and promotes oxidant scavenging while helping clear spent neutrophils from sites of infections decreasing tissue damage. Vitamin C is also a potent enhancer for antibody response for promoting plasma cells.*

ECHINACEA EXTRACT

Activates innate immune responses.*

MORE INFO

A common household name when it comes to immune supplements, it’s been shown to shorten the duration and severity of colds and upper respiratory infections. It activates innate immune responses and white blood cell function. It is antiviral and anti-inflammatory, reduces viral load during illness, and helps modulates overactive or impaired immune systems.*

ELDERBERRY

Stimulates antiviral immunity.*

MORE INFO

Another common immune system supporter, Elderberry may reduce the risk of developing the common cold, flu, or respiratory infection without the risk of clinical inflammatory outcome. It's antiviral and can reduce the viral load of an infection by 10,000 fold power.*

IMMUNE RESPONSE

DID YOU KNOW?

Short-lasting moderate-intensity exercise has a beneficial effect on the host your immune defense, but longer-lasting and higher-intensity training can actually diminish the immune response and lead to a higher probability of succumbing to an infection.

The Peak Immunity formula was created with this in mind. Quercetin, Echinacea, Vitamin D, and N-Acetylcysteineall have proven to help reduce the strain on the immune system from intense exercise and shorten the duration of illnesses.*

WHAT MAKES PEAK IMMUNITY DIFFERENT?

There are more than 4700 scientific references on beta glucans and the immune system. These long-chain carbohydrate compounds are non-digestible but have a powerful ability to stimulate both the innate and adaptive immune systems. They destroy bacteria and errant cell growth by enhancing the production of phagocytes (like little Pac-Mans), and activate the complement system which keeps all components of the immune response working together.*

A polyphenol that is widespread in vegetables and fruits such as broccoli, onions, apples, berries, and grapes. It is a powerful antioxidant, antiviral, and antiallergenic, as well as an important compound that assists in the regulation of inflammation. In a double-blind study of trained cyclists under conditions of intensified exercise quercetin significantly reduced upper respiratory tract infections by 9x.*

A polysaccharide that promotes the activity of white blood cells, Natural Killer cells, T-cells, and B-cells, which are all the big components of the innate and adaptive arms of the immune system. It induces the expression of inflammatory compounds and inflammatory-modulating compounds with a controlling effect on the central and peripheral immune organs, including bone marrow, thymus, lymph nodes, spleen, and mucosal tissues. It also dramatically increases T-cell proliferation.*

A naturally occurring plant carbohydrate that induces apoptosis (programmed cell death) and differentiation of malignant cells with tissue reversion back to a normal state. It enhances immunity and antioxidant status while stimulating the migration of leukocytes (white blood cells) to the area of infection.*

Involved in interleukin production which pushes T-cell growth and enhances Natural Killer cells. It also promotes the growth of peripheral immune cells in the lymph nodes, spleen, and mucosal tissues. B6 is a regulator of the inflammatory response and stimulatory of immune cells.*

A strong immune system supporter, NAC has direct antioxidant activity, helps control inflammatory responses, improves T-cell response, and increases the activity of Natural Killer Cells. It suppresses the adhesion of bacteria and viruses to epithelial cells and has a mucolytic action which means it helps break down mucus that has bacteria or viruses in it to clear it out of the body.*

THE TWO ARMS OF THE IMMUNE SYSTEM

With countless moving parts and intricate influences affecting different immune responses, the immune system can be broken down into two arms, the innate (general) and adaptive (specialized) immune systems.*

ADAPTIVE IMMUNE SYSTEM

This is your immune system's precisely targeted attack. When the innate system fails to prevent the infection, the adaptive immune system sends out a specific array of immune fighting cells like T-Cells, B-Cells, and antibodies.

With memory and precision, the adaptive system identifies, digests, and disposes of the toxic invader. This is also the system that builds lasting immunity and helps prevent reinfection.*

INNATE IMMUNE SYSTEM

This is the body's first line of defense and consists of all mucosal and epithelial cells (aka "skin"). Not just the skin on the “outside” of your body, because technically speaking, the respiratory and digestive systems are external as well.

This system is the first response to a cut on your arm, airborne or ingested pathogens, or viruses brought home from daycare. The body quickly and immediately, through inflammation, dispatches an array of immune cells like Natural Killer Cells and Phagocytes to identify, destroy, and remove the toxic invader. This incredible process happens in our bodies on a daily basis.*

IMMUNE SYSTEM HEAVY HITTERS

INFLAMMATION

There is good and bad inflammation. It’s your body's way of focusing the immune system's efforts on areas of potential infection by flooding the area with specialized proteins, enzymes, and immune cells.*

WHITE BLOOD CELLS
(LEUKOCYTES)

There are different types of white blood cells in the body all with different functions in both arms of the immune system.*

SCAVENGER CELLS
(PHAGOCYTES)

an integral part of the innate immune system, they “digest” bacteria and viruses like a little Pac Man as well as send signals after digestion for the adaptive system to direct and build memory. This process is called phagocytosis.*

NATURAL KILLER CELLS
(LYMPHOCYTES)

A workhorse for the immune system, NK Cells destroy potential threats by destroying cells that have become infected or malignant without any prior exposure to the infectious organism or mutated cell.*

T-CELLS
(T-LYMPHOCYTES)

There are two types, Helper T-Cells and Cytotoxic T-cells. Helper-T Cells send signals that help coordinate the immune response, and Cytotoxic T-Cells kill and destroy cells infected by a viruses, bacteria, or mutated cells.*

B-CELLS
(B-LYMPHOCYTES)

There are two types: Plasma Cells and Memory Cells. Plasma Cells release antibodies in response to a specific infection. Memory Cells, when exposed to a virus, help your immune system remember these antigens to build immunity for future infections.*

ANTIBODIES

Specialized proteins released from B-Cells to attach and remove any foreign antigens.*

ANTIGENS

An identifier for the immune system cells to help the immune system differentiate between your cells and the cells of an invader.*
