What Are BCAAs?
TRAIN LONGER, FEEL STRONGER.
Increase strength and physical endurance by feeding your muscles exactly what they need. BCAAs (Branched-Chain Amino Acids) boost muscle protein synthesis (the rebuilding of muscle fibers) – increasing muscular energy & strength, speeding up recovery time, and reducing soreness. Notice greater results from training.*

What ARE AMINO ACIDS?
Twenty different amino acids make up the estimated 100,000 different proteins found throughout the human body. Of those twenty aminos, nine are considered essential amino acids, meaning they are not naturally produced by the body and must be obtained through the diet.
Of those nine, three are described as Branched-Chain Amino Acids (BCAA) --leucine, isoleucine, and valine --which can only be found in protein-rich foods like dairy, eggs, and meat.*
What do bcaas do for me?
During exercise, the body will, among other physiological processes, break down muscle tissue for energy. As most people have experienced, this energy only lasts so long and eventually, your body gets fatigued and unable to push as hard as it was at the beginning of the workout.
Supplementing BCAAs shortly before or during training helps reduce the cannibalizing of the muscles for the needed energy while also replenishing free BCAA pools, therefore, increasing endurance.
BCAAs are also beneficial when trying to cut weight and not lose muscle mass. When eating fewer calories and mainly less protein, BCAAs can minimize the breakdown of muscle for energy.*
BENEFITS OF BCAAs
For most efficient utilization BCAAs should be taken 15-30 minutes before or during exercise.*
For proper consumption, BCAAs should be mixed in a clear liquid, i.e water, juice, pre-workout. DO NOT take with a protein shake, as this will counter the specific beneficial effects, noted above, of the isolated amino acids found in BCAAs.*
Daily Strength and Brute Strength have some free-form BCAAs added to the protein blend. (These are the same BCAA ingredients found in this BCAA product.) This increases the overall level of BCAAs in a serving of these products and enables the body to receive some immediately-needed BCAAs very quickly. Meanwhile, the larger amounts of BCAAs are more slowly released from the protein blend as those proteins are digested.
In the BCAAs product, all of the branched chain aminos are in free-form, thereby providing an abundant infusion of these nutrients very quickly to the muscles. This enables the muscles to increase their pools of BCAAs for muscle preservation, building, and repair as well as for muscle energy production during activity.
There are no gender differences in the need for BCAAs.
By consuming BCAAs on a daily basis, reserves of these important nutrients are increased. This enables their use for muscle repair and for muscle energy even on days when one doesn’t exercise, train, or perform.
