I use this sprinkled on my dogs food as she doesn't care for it mixed in water. I do think it gives her an advantage in the field on hot days. I plan to continue using this after trialing and long training days.

My dog really enjoys this product and it has had a positive effect on his health.

While hunting in Arizona and New Mexico, it was vital for the dogs to be well hydrated and to be at their peak. H&R was key for giving them the energy to find birds.

Early season hunting has warm weather to say the least I started using hydrate and recover. The dog seemed to go further and longer while my buddies dog started cramping up. We both watered the same amount excessively to say the least, and I feel that my dog could outperform his due to hydrate and recover.

Great product. My dog loves it and i can see the difference in hos performance.

My dogs love this stuff they always beg for it after we play or go for a walk or even want to take my hunt dog out. It’s a must need if you have working dogs.

I use this in my hunting dogs water on long hard days. I pack it out for sheep hunting season and is now a must have for the dog who is 12 now and still going strong in the Alaskan mountains and woods. He drinks it with no issue and actually seems to like it more than regular water.

Hydrate & Recover has been a great way to become revitalized while hunting turkeys this season. With a wide range of temps, from cold to downright hot, H&R has been my go-to drink mix to feel refreshed and energized.

Not sure if it is the added flavor or or smell or the combination, but Ruger is now willing to stop and take a drink with this mixed in the water. Normally she will just ignore the water bottle and keep going even it hot weather. But after making her stop and squirting a little in her mouth and she started to drink. About a half hour later when I pulled the bottle out and called her over she actually stopped to drink a little more. Worked on the second training run as well. Hopefully it will continue.

Bought a jar of this ay Pheasant fest. Everyone at the booth was very nice and helpful. My Griff does not do well when it's hot so I'm excited to try this out and see how it works.

Picked up a jar of this at last years Pheasant Fest. Used on my labs while hunting Ohio,North Dakota and South Dakota.Great stuff dogs never lost the go. Wouldn’t hunt without it.

Unfortunately while we are hiking or hunting my dog will not drink water that has this mixed in it. If I sprinkle it on his food and pour a little water in it he will eat it, but I doubt we are getting the full effect that way.

We started hydrate and recover after our Montana trip this year. I have seen notable differences in recovery time between training sessions and conditioning work. Excited to see more when we hit South Dakota and Kansas this year.

Dogs drank it and seemed to work well. My dogs would not drink some other brands.

My dog is a water fiend but I wanted something to give his hydration a little boost since he is creeping up on 11 or so years of age. He loves the taste so much we offer it to him as a post-dinner treat to make sure he is also drinking his regular water as well. Is this product absolutely necessary? No. Is this something that I will continue to use and purchase to help out with the help of my pup? Absolutely.

It’s probably great stuff but dogs won’t touch it at all. I have 3 pointers and they all hate it.

I like the product so far. My gsp doesn’t like to stop for water so I am concerned about dehydration over multi day hunts. It would be helpful to have a little more directions on best timing for administering the product (ie during hunt, post hunt, with food)

I have three dogs. A German shepard (3), German wirehaired pointer (6 months), and a shepard mutt (7). The German shepard will not drink this unless she's really hot, or I mix one scoop with the 2.5 gallon auto water bowl. The GWP doesn't mind it as much, but definitely prefers regular water. The shepard mutt (7) is just like the German shepard in that she generally won't drink it.

My golden retriever will not drink this. It seems to be something with the smell or taste. If she is extremely thirsty she still will not drink this. She walks over smells it and will walk away. I will not be buying again.

We hunted 60 plus days temperatures from 80 plus degrees to single digits across 4 different states with 2 setters. Alternate a bottle of hydrate and recover and a bottle of fresh water throughout the days and never lost dog power. We will not hunt without.

Our dogs wont drink it unless their are completely tired from a hunt or run. Our Collie wont even touch it then. Our lab will drink it if i carry it in a nalgene while hunting and shes very thirsty, but once at home, or even after calming down, she wont touch it. When she has drank it, i didnt notice any difference in her recovery over straight water. Itl take a while to get through this tub, and i wont be buying another.

Used my Hydrate and Recover for my bird dogs while on a dove hunt in Yuma! It is over 100 degrees and Hydrate and Recover did wonders for my dogs.

Been supplementing with the K9 hydrate and recover to hydrate my pup while training. He enjoys the taste and noticed his recovery is faster, and I now can’t wait to use it while out hunting with him. I’m sure his recovery and endurance should improve just like do with my hydrate and recover.

I was so excited to find this product. I’ve been looking for something like this for over 12 years. I frequently hike with my dogs & living in AZ I’ve always been concerned about their hydration. I always add a hydration supplement to my water, but nothing was available for my dogs. I’ve even suggested to my vet that they develop such a product. Well, now I don’t have to look any further, Wilderness Athlete came to the rescue. I haven’t had a chance to really put it to the test yet as the current temps here are 110+ & way to hot to take the dogs out even very early in the morning when I go. Thank you Wilderness Athlete.
