Position Overview: Wilderness Athlete is seeking an exceptional Customer Service and Administration Assistant who is motivated to further our mission of making our customers lives better each day in the field, in the gym, and in life. Candidates will need to be driven to learn our products, systems, and processes quickly, take responsibility for being an expert who customers trust, and take ownership over their assigned administrative tasks.
You will be an integral part of our Customer Experience team, playing a key role in providing expert guidance and support for customers. You will also take on administrative tasks that keep the business running day to day. The ideal candidate is passionate about nutrition, fitness, and the outdoors, and is driven to help others share in that passion.
*NOTE: This is a full time, in office position. Candidates who request a remote position or work from home days will not be considered.
Responsibilities:
Be at the Wilderness Athlete office in Fountain Hills, AZ Monday-Friday 8am-4pm.
Develop a deep understanding of Wilderness Athlete products, systems, and processes.
Engage with customers in a consultative manner, understanding their needs, preferences, and interests.
Provide expert advice on product features, benefits, and applications, helping customers make informed purchasing decisions.
Understand each customer's wants and needs, and inform them of relevant products that could add value to their journey.
Demonstrate outstanding product knowledge during customer interaction.
Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized workplace.
Strive to exceed individual and team milestones on a consistent basis.
Continuously stay informed about industry trends, product updates, and new releases.
Participate in training sessions to improve product knowledge and service techniques.
Actively contribute to a positive and energetic office environment.
Have an ability to learn administrative tasks on the job and on the fly.
Have an overall drive for getting the job done.
Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of customer service and nutrition preferred.
Passion for health, fitness, and the outdoors (hunting a plus!)
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Strong motivation and a results-driven attitude with the ability to learn quickly on the job.
Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
Familiarity with e-commerce systems and basic computer skills.
Strong work ethic and dedication to achieving goals.

The warehouse employee works with the warehouse team to accurately and efficiently fulfill Wilderness and Working Athlete’s orders.Other day-to-day responsibilities include restocking products, working on larger projects, counting inventory, and maintaining a clean/organized space.
