While some ingredients are organic, most ingredients in Green Infusion are not as it is not possible to have a reliable source of these organic ingredients. “Reliable” meaning that our material sources will not always have them in stock and wait time to receive them could be several months. Regardless, all ingredients are tested for heavy metals, some pesticides, and for microorganisms to assure the highest quality.
If you were to mix hot water with Green Infusion it would kill the probiotics and potentially inactivate some of the herbal constituents. We recommend that you prepare your meal (or drink) and add Green Infusion once it has cooled to a consumable temperature. This should protect all sensitive ingredients.
A 7g serving of Green Infusion provides a dietarily trivial amount of macronutrients:
Fat <0.5g
Protein <1g
Carbohydrates <3g
(1g Sugars, 1g Fiber, 1g Complex Carbohydrates)
The balance (~3g) is other naturally occurring compounds that don’t fall into any of those classifications. Please keep in mind that some of the active phytonutrients will fall into one of the three (protein/fat/carbohydrate) macronutrient classes.
We have not done a complete food analysis of the Green Infusion because of the insignificant value in dietary macronutrients.
There is a physiologically insignificant amount of caffeine in GI, (about 1mg/serving), which is present in the green tea extract. This will have no effect whatsoever on blood pressure, and GI can be considered safe in this regard for anyone, even those with untreated hypertension.
There is no problem with warm water but hot water would kill the probiotics and potentially inactivate some of the herbal constituents. We recommend that the you prepare the dehydrated meal and add Green Infusion once the food has cooled to a consumable temperature. This should protect all sensitive ingredients.
