FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Teams can only make exchanges or tag the next person up at The Physical Challenge Box or Any Shooting Station.
Here is a break-down of the spots where exchanges/tags are allowed:
1. After each of the physical challenges performed at the challenge box.
2. After each run loop.
3. After each shot is taken at the challenge course target.
4. At the two Mountain Course Target shooting stations.
Yes.
Just because you complete one portion of the task list, and tag someone else to complete the next task does not mean that you are not allowed to be tagged back in.
Example: Team of 2
One person could complete the box step overs, the first run loop, and shoot the first arrow before tagging their partner who then completes the burpees over the box, run second run loop, and the second arrow and then tags their partner back in to complete the log tosses, the third run loop, and the third shot, and so on.
Teams can have multiple members go on the Mountain Course to take turns carrying the weighted pack, but the pack can only be exchanged at the shooting stations. Not everyone who starts the Mountain Course has to finish it. Just the pack has to make it to the finish line.
Teams are allowed to start the heat with members already at one or both of the Mountain Course shooting stations.
Not everyone has to be shooting the same style of bow, however, your team must decide before the heat starts what style of bow will be shooting at the Challenge Course Target. The challenge course target will be set at either 30 yards for compound bows or 15 yards for traditional bows and it can not be moved once the heat starts.
The Mountain Course shooting stations will have both designated compound targets (20-40 yards) and traditional targets (10-20 yards) allowing for either style.
All shots can be made by the same person on the Challenge/Mountain Course.
Everyone on the team is allowed to shoot the 3D course on Sunday.
Here is how the teams final 3D scores will be decided:
Teams of 2: Average the two scores
Teams of 3 or 4: Average the top two scores
Teams of 5 or 6: Average the top three scores
