Remi Warren

From a very young age Remi took to the mountains learning the land and the animals in it. He constantly pushed myself in the field to be the best that he could, and learned a lot of good lessons along the way... often through trial and error. At the age of 22, he opened Montana OutWest Outfitters in the Bitterroot Valley of Montana, specializing in elk and deer hunts on public land. Later he expanded his operation by booking hunts in New Zealand and Africa.

He hosts a new television series Apex Predator airing on the Outdoor Channel. On this show, he studies the uniqueness of a single animal. Through a series of experiments he learns how he can adapt that animals techniques. He then attempts to go replicate what the natural world has taught him in the wild. Remi also co-hosts Solo Hunters on the Outdoor Channel. The challenge of playing the role of the hunter, cameraman, and producer at once has been a challenge he loves. When he isn't guiding or filming, he works as a field editor for both Western Hunter Magazine and Elk Hunter Magazine, sharing hunting tips and tricks he has learned along the way.

 Jason Matzinger

Jason's passion for hunting developed at an early age thanks to his father Tim in his home state of Montana. Upon his high school graduation, Jason began guiding big game hunters, but quickly realized his experiences would rival anything that was currently being produced in the world of hunting television. When the head outfitter moved away, Jason made a decision to get serious about filming. The footage he captured of animal behavior was unlike any that major companies had seen before. He traveled the globe capturing highly sought after hunts and developed his television show Into High Country, now in it's seventh season. His award nominations for the show include "Best New Series", "Host of the Year" and "Best Big Game". Now with his latest film adventure, #ProjectElk, he is pioneering a new path in hunting television that you do not want to miss.

Willi Schmidt

Willi has been hunting since before he can remember, starting with upland and waterfowl hunting when he was a boy, and gradually taking on more and more big game species. He began bowhunting in 1992 and has been addicted ever since, taking every opportunity he can to pursue the world’s toughest game with a bow when possible. Willi is also an ardent conservationist who has a first-hand love of our world’s precious landscapes and wildlife, and believes strongly in the importance of protecting them for his children and grandchildren to come.Willi Schmidt has no fear of taking on the world’s toughest environments and most dangerous or elusive species. And he’s made it his mission to become stronger, faster and better every day while feeding his passion and sharing his discoveries with the world. As host of the TV show Pure Hunting, he’s determined to prove that he ranks among the best in the world on any playing field. And like any athlete at the top of his game, preparation is everything. Willi puts himself through grueling daily workouts using P90X2, the advanced version of the intense hardcore training regimen known as P90X, in addition to running and biking all of which keeps him in incredible athletic shape and ready to tackle any environment.

 Outback Outdoors

Outback Outdoors was formed when a group of hardcore western hunters decided that the same old big game hunting videos were no longer good enough for the hunting industry. Bringing decades of varied hunting experience as well as a fresh perspective to the table, the Outback Outdoors team spends hundreds of days each season both behind and in front of the camera capturing their adventures. With over 40 years of experience in the outdoors, this is not the usual collection of weekend warriors with big trucks and handi-cams. Instead, our team consists of solid industry professionals with collective experiences in all aspects of outdoor media including outdoor writing, hunting seminars, producing big game hunting videos, outfitting and guiding, along with years of personal success in the field.

 The Western Hunter

The Western Hunter is focused on hard hunting in tough conditions in remote country. Every hunt will have viewers on the edge of their seats as our hunters push their own physical and mental limits on a weekly basis. It's a test of will, of our resolve against the mountain and conducted with excellence in message, gear, knowledge and ability. They are firmly committed to the fair chase hunting of all wild, free-ranging western big game. Our mission is to educate, inspire, entertain, and share, as well as make our audience better hunters, more thoughtful sportsmen, and dedicated conservationists. Comprising the team includes Nate Simmons, Ryan Hatfield and Chris Denham. All three of these men know that it takes passion, drive and top physical condition to conquer the mountains.
